About me...
I am a 1993 graduate of Maryville High School and began my post-secondary educational career at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. At UTK, I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications and a Master of Science Degree in Education. My career in education began in 2001 with Blount County Schools. I joined Alcoa City Schools in 2004 as a middle school teacher and transitioned into administration in 2009. During that same year, I enrolled in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at East Tennessee State University and earned a Doctor of Education Degree in 2013. From 2015 to 2019, I served as the Director of Alternative Learning. In the fall of 2019, I joined the Educator Support Center staff and currently serve as the Director of Attendance, System-wide Registrar, and contact for Homeless, Homebound, and Homeschool education.
