About me...
I grew up in West Tennessee, graduated from high school, and attended Rhodes College. After I met my husband, we moved to Charleston, SC where I finished my Bachelors at The College of Charleston. I worked in the corporate world for a time before education as a professional found me. We moved to Knoxville, and I went back to UTK to get my Masters so that I could teach high school English. After several years of teaching in Sevier County and returning to school for my EdS, I was blessed with the opportunity to teach English at Alcoa High School, where I was the Department Chair. After several more years in the classroom, I moved into administrative roles, earned my Doctorate, and am now a part of the Educator Support Center. I am thrilled to be a part of Alcoa City Schools and appreciate the community feel and support!
